Intensive Week in Kaunas – mai 2023

During 1- 5 May 2023, students from five different universities and countries (Finland, Germany, Lithuania, Romania and Spain) got together in Kaunas, Lithuania, to test the 5-ECTS Course on Global Citizenship and Diversity Management, developed by the partner universities composing the GLOBDIVES consortium. The Intensive Week organized by Kauno Kolegija, Lithuania, the project coordinator, provided the perfect opportunity for multicultural debates on the topics of diversity management and global citizenship and their importance for students and their future careers.

Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania, was represented by five students enrolled in the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, bachelor studies who, following the virtual pre-assignments assigned, won the competition on SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) topics. The participating students from the five partner universities of the GLOBDIVES consortium (Kauno Kolegjia, Lithuania, LAB University of Applied Sciencies, Finland, Hochschule fur Technik und Wirtschaft des Saarlandes (htw saar), Germany, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași, Romania and Universidad de Vigo, Spain) tested the chapters of the course, had fruitful discussions and shared their own experiences from their home countries with fellow colleagues.

The 5-ECTS Course on Global Citizenship and Diversity Management will be present as an optional course in the curricula of the partner universities and available online for all students enrolled. More updates will be available at link https://globdives.blogspot.com/.
