The Accounting Information Systems study programme has been part of FEAA’s educational offer since 1962. This programme aims to train specialists who could be employed in finance and accounting positions in all sectors of the national economy. Students’ vocational training is also facilitated by the protocol concluded with the Body of Chartered Accountants and Certified Accountants in Romania, which provides internships for first and second years students in accounting and accounting expertise offices/companies. Bachelor studies can be further supplemented by Master’s programmes which ensure access to professional organisations operating at national and international level (CECCAR, CAFR , ANEVAR, ACCA).

CIG (AIS) is a specialisation with a long tradition at FEAA, that aims to train multidisciplinary specialists (in Accounting, Computer Science, Economic Analysis, Taxation, etc.). The programme is addressed to all high school graduates who wish to develop a professional career in the finance-accounting field.
CIG (AIS) graduates can have access the following jobs: economist-accountant, head of a financial and management accounting department, internal auditor, censor, financial analyst, information systems analyst / designer, tax inspector, assessor, accounting expert, financial auditor, taxation consultant, insolvency specialist, etc.
A significant percentage of CIG (AIS) students benefit from international experience through mobilities abroad in prestigious universities. Multidisciplinary training provides a high degree of absorption on the labour market. For instance, more than 68% of the 2015 graduates were employed in the first year after graduation.
