Oral presentation instructions

Presentations may not exceed 15 minutes. Each speaker will allow 5 minutes for questions.
The following points should be taken into consideration when preparing your oral presentation:

• Ensure that you are available at least 30 minutes before the session commences on the day of the conference.
• The equipment available will be PC and Data Projector.
• The recommended software to be used is PowerPoint.

Online/Virtual participation

Those authors who are unable to attend the conference in person have the option of participating online. A live feed of the keynote speeches will be broadcasted via teleconference. Participants will be able to ask questions through written chat messages, which will be conveyed to the speakers by the moderator.

In addition, those sections in which online/virtual participants are registered will also be broadcasted live, with the possibility of addressing questions through chat. Online participants will be able to present their work via the teleconference system and receive live questions from the audience. In the eventuality that the presentation cannot be delivered live through teleconference (due to technical difficulties), we recommend that that online participants record a 10 to 15 minute video of their speech and send it to us. You will be able to receive questions and provide answers through written chat. You may refer to this link to create a video from your PowerPoint presentation.

More information regarding the teleconference platform that will be used (e.g. Microsoft Teams, Cisco WebEx, Zoom etc.) and the distribution of access credentials to the conference will be posted on our website in September 2021.
