The Organizing Committee is pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the 7th edition of the Annual International Conference

Globalization and Higher Education in Economics and Business Administration
(GEBA 2013)

which will be held at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, in Iasi, Romania from 24th to 26th of  October 2013.

The conference aims to promote international cooperation in the field of Economics and Business Administration in Higher Education. GEBA 2013 will provide an International Forum for the presentation and discussion of recent work on different aspects of globalization.

GEBA 2013 is not only a forestage to present novel research; it also gives opportunities for new emergent ideas in economic science arising from both fundamental and cross disciplinary approaches to globalization phenomenon.

We are delighted to announce that Professor Pascal Salin, Ph.D. (Université Paris-Dauphine) and Professor Mark J. Perry, Ph.D. (University of Michigan - Flint) confirmed their participation at GEBA 2013 Conference as  keynote speakers.

Pascal Salin is Professor Emeritus of Economics at the Université Paris-Dauphine. He is former President of the Mont Pèlerin Society, Knight of the Légion d'Honneur and Officer of the Ordre national du Mérite. He won the Gary G. Schlarbaum Prize for lifetime defense of liberty, awarded by the Ludwig von Mises Institute, in 2008. He will be presenting a lecture entitled “Diversity and coordination: From the firm to economic integration”.

Mark J. Perry is Professor of Finance and Business Economics at University of Michigan-Flint's School of Management and Scholar at The American Enterprise Institute. He will present a lecture entitled "Navigating the U.S. Economic Recovery and The Case for Optimism ".

A selection of presented papers will be published in Procedia - Economics and Finance by Elsevier, indexed by Science Direct, Scopus, Thomson Reuters (ISI Conference Proceedings Citation Index).
