The Organizing Committee is pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the 4th edition of the Annual International Conference
Globalization and Higher Education in Economics and Business Administration
The IV th edition of the conference is part of a series of events organized in 2010 to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi.
The conference aims to promote international cooperation in the field of Economics and Business Administration in Higher Education. GEBA 2010 will provide an International Forum for the presentation and discussion of recent work on different aspects of globalization.
GEBA 2010 is not only a forestage to present novel research; it also gives opportunities for new emergent ideas in economic science arising from both fundamental and cross disciplinary approaches to globalization phenomenon.
The official language of the conference is English. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings with ISBN number, available for the participants upon arrival. The deadline for submission of proposals is the 2nd of May 2010.
A selection from the presented papers will be submitted to Thomson Reuters for indexing and abstracting in the ISI Conference Proceedings Citation Index.
A selection of papers will be published in a special issue of the Scientific Annals of the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Economic Sciences Section, B+ journal accredited by the National University Research Council (CNCSIS) and indexed in international databases (RePEc, CEEOL, DOAJ) and in the Review of Economic and Business Studies, journal accredited by the National University Research Council (CNCSIS) and indexed in international databases (RePEc, CEEOL, ICAAP, Ulrichs', Copernicus).
We are delighted to announce that Professor Irinel Dragan, Ph.D. (The University of Texas Arlington), Professor Giorgio Dominese, Ph.D. (University of Rome Tor Vergata), Professor Mihai Korka, Ph.D. (Academy of Economic Studies of Bucharest) and Mr. Ovidiu Ispir (European Court of Auditors) confirmed their participation at GEBA 2010 Conference as keynote speakers, all of them being renown speakers and leading authorities in business research and practice.
