Call for papers
The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration within "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iasi, Romania, organizes the third edition of: "Economy and Knowledge".
The overall aim of the conference is to provide a framework for academics and practitioners to meet and exchange ideas and new research in the generous field of entrepreneurship. Our conference seeks to provide a framework for merging ideas from different fields of economics and business administration.
Please find attached the necessary details for your participation at our conference.
Also, please note that the deadline for paper submission is August 25th, 2011.
Invitation
The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iasi, Romania has the pleasure to invite you to participate at the International Conference Economy and knowledge, which will take place between 10 -12 November 2011.
The Conference is mainly addressed to young researchers, professors and PhD. coordinators. It aims to promote debates on the following topics:
1. Economic science and the challenges of XXI century
2. Entrepreneurship and development
3. Financial-banking system and economic cycles
Hoping that you will confirm your participation, we provide some general benchmarks and the contact address of the organizers.
A. General Information
- The papers presented at the conference will be published in Conference Proceedings. Only original papers will be accepted for presentation and publication.
- The conference will take place at the Senat Hall, "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University, no. 11-22 Carol I Ave., IaÅŸi, Romania.
- The session will include works presented in sections.
- The presentation of papers will be in Romanian/English language.
- Available equipment: retro projector, video + laptop.
B. Terms
- August 25th 2011 is the deadline for sending the papers;
- August 31rd 2011 is the deadline for receiving the accept notification;
- September 10th 2011 is the deadline in order to pay the fee conference, request for accommodation;
- The papers and the proof of payment for the participation fee will be sent via email at fibas@uaic.ro (the subject of the e-mail will contain the following statement: last name_first name_section_ paper title);
- the participation fee is 100 EURO and will be paid at the cashier's office of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Building B, 2nd floor or in bank account RO39TREZ406504601X000730 Treasury of Iasi, beneficiary University "Alexandru Ioan Cuza"- FEAA, R4701126 code, mentioning "Participation fee Conference < Economy and Knowledge>";
C. Organizational Information
- The participation fee includes procedures for registration and publication of one paper or a book review in the conference volume;
D. Submission Guidelines
For publication and uniformity of presentation, the authors are asked to respect the following guidelines:
- The papers will be written in English and will have a number of 6 - 10 pages, including bibliography, and will contain an abstract of 5-10 lines in English;
- The title will be followed by the name of the author (s), scientific title and affiliation (Times New Roman font, size 14, bold, Alignment Center).
- The abstract, followed by key terms (not exceeding 6 words), will be inserted after the title of the paper and the name of the author / authors.
- The typescript uses Microsoft Word, in A4 format, respecting the following settings on all the pages: 25 mm left edge, right edge 25 mm, 25 mm top, down 25 mm;
Font Times New Roman, "Size 12" line spacing single , using "Justify"; - The title will be written in capital letters, bold, with "Size 14", and chapters with "Size 12" bold;
- Paragraphs will begin at a distance of one Tab (1.27 cm) from the left of the page;
- Footnotes should be numbered consecutively in the text and gathered at the bottom of each page;
- Bibliography will be placed at the end of the text of the paper, at the distance of two lines from the last line of text;
- Do not insert page numbers.
